As an Educational Technology Consultant at UC, you'll combine your technical expertise and pedagogical knowledge to support staff in enhancing teaching and learning experiences. From managing our Learning Management System to advising on the use of digital tools and best practices, you'll play a key role in developing flexible, engaging learning environments. You'll work closely with academic staff, ensuring the thoughtful integration of technology to support educational outcomes and elevate the student experience. If you thrive on collaboration, problem-solving, and making a difference in digital learning, we'd love to hear from you!Mōu | Who You AreYou will have 3-4 years' experience supporting learning technologies and recent experience in supporting a Learning Management System: (Moodle or similar), as well as have:experience in coaching and mentoring teachers and/or tertiary lecturers and students in the use of learning technologiescritical awareness and knowledge of the potential impact of emerging technologies on flexible delivery practices and skill with learning technologiesexperience with online teaching and/or on-line learningexperience creating robust online resources for technology supportexperience with project management and/or strategic planningexperience with budgeting and procurement processesability to align support initiatives with an international audienceexperience managing vendor relationshipsnegotiation skills to ensure outcomes are fully understood and agreedstrong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsan alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work WithUC's Office of Future Learning and Development partners with academic staff to positively impact the quality of teaching and learning using educational technologies.
