Job DescriptionPeracon (Egis) is seeking a technically strong and client-focused Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking high-quality engineering studies, investigations, and designs within a commercially driven environment. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality electrical engineering designs and documentation for Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) systems, including HV and LV networks, substations, switchyards, and associated infrastructureManage project deliverables to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high technical standardEngage directly with clients to understand their technical and commercial requirements, build trust, and provide sound, risk-aware engineering adviceSupport internal design reviews and verification processes to uphold Peracon’s quality assurance standardsUndertake technical investigations, feasibility studies, and concept-to-detailed design for substations and network upgrades across utility, industrial, and infrastructure projectsQualificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineStrong technical background with experience in heavy industry sectors such as mining, processing, rail, or oil & gas OR within the Electrical Transmissions/Distribution industryProficient in contract management and the commercial aspects of engineering projectsDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, timely outputs in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsProfessional and collaborative approach, with strong stakeholder management skills.

Additional InformationSalary Banding: $80,000 - $90,000 + superWe are open to considering this role on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis. Please let us know of your flexibility requirements.
