Job DescriptionThis is high-profile role within the Core team, will implement the Quality Management System and oversee that the delivery of services and construction practices are in line with QM Systems and standards. The quality of workmanship and materials will be audited to achieve QCS and BS standards to deliver improved finish and completions to acceptable Quality and Technical standards, will organise quality audits on Sub-Contractors and ensure they close out corrective actions.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and proceduresLead and mentor a team of quality assurance and quality control professionalsConduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulationsAnalyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvementImplement and oversee statistical process control methods to monitor production processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actionsManage and coordinate quality-related projects and initiativesEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001Develop and deliver quality-related training programs for employeesPrepare and present quality performance reports to senior managementStay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging quality management techniquesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environmentExperience working in Road/Highway Operation and Maintenance ContractsExperience working in O & M Performance-Based ContractsExprience working outside MENA regionProven experience in team management and leadershipStrong knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and Lean Six Sigma methodologiesProficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniquesExcellent project management skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality assurance softwareIn-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standardsStrong knowledge of relevant quality control methodologies and regulationsExcellent analytical and organizational skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to travel occasionally within Qatar as required
