Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Data Analyst with professional fluency in Japanese and English to support our global environmental data reporting initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with international teams and Japanese stakeholders to manage and analyze environmental performance data particularly in the areas of energy, water, and waste using Enablon Metrics and GGX (GreenGlobeX) platforms.Key Responsibilities Manage and validate environmental data (energy, water, waste) across global sites using Enablon and GGX Support integration between Enablon Metrics and other data platforms as required. Support and communicate data quality checks, including reviewing emission factors, calculation methodologies, and data mapping. Ensure accurate and timely data transfer between systems and stakeholders Collaborate with Japanese-speaking site managers and global sustainability teams regarding calculations and conversions Support audits and assurance processes related to environmental data Provide training and documentation in both Japanese and English Configure, maintain, and enhance Enablon Metrics Module, including creation and management of indicators, campaigns, formulas, and versioning. Collaborate with global site users to troubleshoot data input issues, optimize workflows, and provide technical support. Assist with system upgrades, compliance sampling, and testing of new functionalities.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, or a related technical field. 6+ years of overall IT experience, including over 2+ years of hands-on experience with Enablon Metrics and/or GGX (GreenGlobeX) Strong analytical skills and attention to data quality Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English Experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data, or environmental compliance Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Preferred Qualifications Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Science, or related field Familiarity with ISO 14001, GHG Protocol, or CDP reporting Experience working in a multinational or cross-cultural environment
