Job Description

Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as an EHS Coordinator (12 Months Contract).This position will be based in Jurong Island, Singapore. As an EHS Coordinator (12 Months Contract) you will: Accountable to maintain the EHS equipment & documents, including but not limited to the following: Tracking EHS, Fire Safety and Security related documents, such as equipment inspection schedule, SDS, Paper usage and recycle record, PPE inventory, PPE map, Signboard inventory list, Respirator Fit test Record, etc.Updating records for approved Contractor Register & Operating Licenses.Gather inventory and service or repair requests (including PPE or other EHS-related items) from site employees, and initiate purchase requisitions through the company’s procurement system.Coordinate EHS, security and fire safety equipment maintenance with support from the vendors, maintenance & E&I teams. The above work includes enquiry quotation from vendor, coordinating collection and delivery, on-the-job supervision, inspection items are in good order and have the necessary inspection sampled when received. Some of the above items might be in the live plant which require incumbent to wear the necessary PPE. Liaise with different departments and vendors to update the operating licenses and SDS. Ad-hoc EHS duties as assigned What skills and experiences are we looking for?Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to work effectively with team/workgroups.Good follow-up skills to ensure all gaps are closed and timely escalation of issues upwards to ensure proper alignment with management on safety concerns.1 year work experience in the heavy industry, construction, marine, petrochemical, or refinery industry.Minimum A-Level or DiplomaGood Microsoft Word and excel skillsWould have light activities which involve walking around the site.
