This includes overseeing projects, programs, processes, safety policies, best practices, and tasks associated with these initiatives, ultimately achieving full compliance with local, state, federal, and company regulations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop insightful recommendations to address complex operational and strategic problemsEvaluate the impact of proposed changes, with attention to scalability and sustainability over timeCreate project plans and build consensus among diverse sets of stakeholdersManage cross-functional projects from outline to implementation, design and compose weekly reports, industry benchmarkingSupport the Global Environmental, Health and Safety Management Team for overall EHS process implementation and oversightDevelop and sustain systems to drive compliance, continuous injury reduction and environmental performanceCoach and train business partners in EHS responsibilities, as neededReview internal EHS policies and practices, conduct job hazard and risk assessments towards the identification and mitigation of risks, as neededMaintain filing systems for Environmental, Health and Safety activities, such as training and hazardous waste manifestsManage floor warden team to facilitate meetings, maintain records, and coordinate and provide trainingUpdate safety manuals, SOP, etc. to assist with business partners that Global EHS supportMaintain Environmental, Health and Safety Management SystemsPerform baseline assessments for EHS within the realm of the organization and business partners that Global EHS supportAssist with environmental permits and issues and/or tasks as neededSkillsBachelor's degree in relevant field of Environmental, Health and Safety strongly preferredHigh School diploma or GED required5 years' progressive experience in an EHS environment requiredProficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizationHighly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to quickly learn and master new technologyComfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding settingCompensationEstimated Pay Range:Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.Our Commitment to Diversity & InclusionAt Milestone we strive to create a workplace that reflects the communities we serve and work with, where we all feel empowered to bring our full, authentic selves to work.
