This position is based at our EIB Local office in Athens, Greece and requires regular office presence. We will only consider and retain the first three applications submitted.Objective of the traineeshipThe objective of the traineeship is for you to gain valuable experience in an EU organization and a deeper understanding of the EIB Group activities in Greece, through the provision of support to the Athens Office in the preparation of briefings, reports, newsletters and social media, and the organization of events, all under the guidance of the Head of Office.ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of the EIB Group Head of Athens Office, you are expected to:Understand the EIB Group activities in Greece and the EIB Group policies and priorities in the region.Collect information on the economic and political developments in Greece.Support the preparation of briefings, presentations and speeches on priority areas of the EIB Group such as climate, energy, innovation, housing, security and defence.Monitor and collect information on policy and market developments in Greece - Contribute to the preparation of events, office newsletter, social media activities and other communication initiatives of the Athens Office to promote the EIB Group activities in Greece.Academic Qualifications And Professional SkillsFinal year of studies or University degree in economics, business, engineering, law, marketing or a related discipline. Strong understanding of EU institutions, policies, and priorities, especially in areas like climate, energy, innovation, housing, and security would be an advantage. Familiarity with social media and communication tools, and an interest in event coordination and public outreach. Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft Office Tools. Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
