We are looking for a SW QA Engineer to assure the quality of EKE-Electronics’ TCMS platform, solutions and safety applications. TCMS is a train control and management system that includes a train communication network and safety-critical functions for train operations. The SW QA Engineer is responsible for the verification and validation of the software developed at EKE Electronics. This includes: understanding the software under test,planning the testing,setting up and maintaining the test automation environment,test automation, andverification of test automation.
You have applicable education (Master's or Bachelor's degree in Technology or similar) and at least 3 years of experience in software testing or software development. You must have excellent teamworking, and communication skills, but you are also capable of working independently. You are motivated and competent to learn new technologies, solve problems and you can especially get things done.
We expect to be curious and eager to learn,to be interested in understanding why things are designed the way they are - to anticipate how the design might break,solid knowledge of Python,basics of shell scripting (basics),basics of Robot Framework (basics),comfortable with Linux usage, command line tools, and administering a Linux box,basic understanding of TCP/IP networks,familiar with tools like SSH,basics of Git, understanding embedded systems, andfluent spoken and written English language skills.
