We provide innovative, sustainable solutions and engineering excellence across Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Low Current systems.Job Title: Electrical BIM DraftsmanLocation: Cairo, Egypt (Projects based in UAE – requiring knowledge of UAE regulations and standards)Responsibilities:• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and layouts using Revit and AutoCAD in accordance with UAE regulations and international standards.• Develop and update BIM models for electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, and low current systems.• Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, mechanical) to ensure accurate integration of electrical components within the BIM environment.What We're Looking For:• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical drafting, with at least 2 years using Revit in a consultant office environment.• Strong proficiency in Revit (Electrical) and AutoCAD is essential.• Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and convert them into accurate BIM models.• Experience in drafting for lighting, power, fire alarm, and low current systems.• Good coordination skills to work with other disciplines in a BIM environment.• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality drawings.• Strong communication and teamwork skills.• Holding a degree in Electrical Engineering or a diploma in electrical technology is considered a major advantage.Benefits at QAB Group Engineering Consultants:• Competitive salary ranging from EGP 20,000 to 25,000 based on experience and qualifications• Opportunities for professional development and BIM training• A collaborative and supportive work environment• Exposure to diverse and high-profile projects across the UAE• Career growth within a multidisciplinary consultancy firm
