Salter Grange is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team at one of the most esteemed builders of Data Centres in the UK & Europe. As a leading contractor in the Data Centre industry, they are at the forefront of innovation and sustainability and have expanded in Europe with a rich pipeline of work.This presents a thrilling opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to venture into the ever-evolving Data Centre sector. While we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, it would be advantageous for you to have prior experience working on significant projects such as industrial, aviation, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or commercial endeavours.Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:Develop quality plans, manuals, documents and systemsEnsure that all documentation and certification are complete and checked before final handoverDocuments Control - Reviewing and revising documentation to incorporate changes to company policiesReporting and ensuring that the current QA/QC procedures used on projects are standardised and integrated into the Company QA/QC Manual.Prepare technical submittals, builders' work drawings and record drawingsReviewing project documentation, drawings and calculations as required.Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification5+ years of Electrical Engineering experienceProven Experience in Data Centre projectsis an advantage but not essentialAbility to work well under pressure and within strict deadlinesIf you’re ready to take your career to the next level and work on prestigious Data Centre projects, apply now or email your CV to Julia@saltergrange.com
