This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead electrical design projects across residential, commercial, and high-rise developments throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in MEP engineering, proven project leadership experience, and a collaborative mindset to deliver exceptional design quality and client service.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept through construction administration, ensuring technical accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction Develop electrical plans, specifications, and details for residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings using Revit and AutoCAD Oversee design coordination with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural) Perform load calculations, lighting and power distribution layouts, grounding systems, and code compliance analysis Review and seal drawings as a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and quality standards Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to internal processes and industry best practicesQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Active Florida PE license required 5–10 years of progressive design experience at MEP engineering firms Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for electrical system design and documentation Demonstrated experience managing projects in residential, commercial, and high-rise sectors Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients and internal teams Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred Ability to work on-site full-time in Fort Lauderdale (not a hybrid role)What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Collaborative, team-oriented work environment with a focus on design excellenceJob Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
