Electrical Commissioning Engineer | Hamburg | Permanent | Offshore Wind On behalf of a leading offshore wind developer, I’m looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support a major offshore wind farm project in Germany. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the energy transition while working with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic offshore environment.Your Role:Lead and execute commissioning activities for electrical systems (HV/MV/LV), including switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and SCADA.Coordinate with OEMs, installation teams, and client representatives to ensure systems are commissioned safely and in line with project specs.Conduct functional testing, fault finding, and energisation procedures.Prepare commissioning documentation and support handover to operations.Ensure compliance with German offshore safety standards and permit-to-work systems.What We’re Looking For:Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.Proven commissioning experience in offshore wind, energy, or marine sectors.Strong understanding of HV/MV systems, grid compliance, and protection relays.Offshore certifications (GWO, BOSIET, Medical, HUET).Fluent in English; German language skills are a bonus.If you’re available or looking for your next offshore opportunity, I’d love to hear from you.
