Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Electrical Hardware Engineer, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.Responsibilities:You will work as component and/or system responsible for Electrical Hardware within electronic systems. Experience from working with requirements and Functional Safety is a merit. You will be working in a cross-functional way from hardware concept and design to final verification and implementation in production. In this role you will:Lead system engineering in a technical team and play an active role in the delivery, having the responsibility for securing quality and readiness before release.Design and develop electrical and electronics systems and components by identifying the purpose and aim of the system (breakdown of requirements), the component interfaces, and system behaviors. Drive the work from an operational and short-term perspective. Integrate deliveries from sub-systems.Create and maintain the time plan for the respective component and subsystem. Participate in specification implementation and verification loops to secure system aspects of the solution.Secure that system and non-functional requirements are correctly implemented.Communicate and agree requirements with the suppliers. Implement system architecture strategies and roadmaps from concept to launch. Lead concept investigation with teams and take the concept for approval through different decision forums. Actively support product manager in clarifying needs of capabilities/enablers and breaking down those to features/enablers. Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and system architecture roadmaps. Lead concept investigation with teams and take the concept for approval through different decision forums. Knowledge / Experience B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of experience from working with electrical components. Experience from Marine and/or Industrial applications is a merit.2 years of experience from Volvo Group.Experience from working with requirements from Electrical Hardware.Experience from Electromobility (Electronic Distribution and Charging products) is a merit.Experience from working with Functional Safety is a merit.Knowledge of PDM/PLM- and requirement management (e.g. PDM Link)Proven project management capability demonstrated by recent delivery on time & budget. Strong communication skills. Should be comfortable to present information at different levels. Familiar with the release process of hardware in the automotive industry. Basic knowledge in Creo. Experience from working in an Agile environment is a plus. Fluent spoken/written English, Swedish is a plus. Work permit valid for Sweden.
