You’ll join a company where innovation, collaboration and quality engineering matter — and where your impact is visible.What Will You Do?Lead the design and delivery of secondary systems for high‑ and medium‑voltage installations (protection, control, SCADA, auxiliary systems).Develop engineering deliverables: single‑line diagrams (SLDs), protection/control schematics, wiring diagrams, I/O lists and panel layouts.Specify and select key equipment such as protection relays, CTs/VTs, switchgear auxiliaries, PLCs/RTUs/SCADA systems; define settings philosophies and prepare relay setting files and FAT/SAT procedures.Ensure compliance with IEC/EN standards, Dutch grid codes and the company’s QHSE requirements; drive continuous improvement and engineering excellence.Coordinate across disciplines (civil, primary systems, telecom) to review interfaces, cable routing and constructability.Support installation, commissioning and handover: respond to site queries, review as‑built documentation and engage with customers and suppliers.Act as a trusted technical partner for clients and internal stakeholders: interpret requirements, present solutions and capture lessons learned for future projects.What Do You Bring?A Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (focus on power systems, protection & control).Minimum ~4 years’ experience in secondary engineering for substations or industrial power projects, covering design through to commissioning.Proficiency with protection concepts and tools, such as differential, distance and overcurrent protection; knowledge of IEC 61850, relay configuration, FAT/SAT is a plus.Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary teams, influencing stakeholders through solid engineering practices and clear communication.A strong mindset for documentation, quality and hands‑on problem solving in engineering and site environments.Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a bonus.What Do You Get in Return?A dynamic role at the heart of meaningful, high‑impact infrastructure projects in the Netherlands.A collaborative team environment where your technical contribution is recognised and valued.Opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning and cross‑discipline exposure.The chance to work in a country that is actively investing in its energy infrastructure and offers a high quality of life.A competitive salary and benefits package (which we’ll discuss in more detail during the recruitment process).Flexible working arrangements including hybrid remote/office options and a work‑life friendly approach.If you’re excited by the idea of shaping secondary electrical systems that keep modern infrastructure running — and want to join a firm where your engineering makes a tangible difference — we’d love to hear from you.
