Electrical Package Manager Location: Helsinki, Uusimaa, FinlandAdditional Benefits: All Flights/Travel Allowance & Accommodation Paid + Living Allowance of €250 EUR per week (net) on top of your salary (full benefits description as below)In partnership an industry leader and dedicated Data Centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to their large technology clients, delivering throughout Europe. They are currently employing over 800 professionals and counting.They specialise in providing turnkey Data Centre solutions, providing services from Design, through to Construction across the full range of Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Services as well as Commissioning.In Finland. They are the Turnkey General Contractor for the Construction, Fit-Out, Commissioning and Handover of a 48MW Data Centre in Espoo.Responsibilities:Management of the Electrical Systems package.Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Safety Advisor. This will include the setup, management of and closing out of the safety file as part of the Management team.Drive a focused Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental culture within your team.Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Project Manager, Consulting Engineer and Client requirementsManagement of all costs associated with your package including: The Electrical TeamSub-contractorsMaterial deliveries and goods receipting.Plant and EquipmentVariationsValuations Management of all day-to-day site operationsEnsure policies and procedures are followed closely.Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Management of the "In Progress" snagging system ensuring that the Supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable. Ensure all snags are distributed to all Sub-contractorsIssue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover MeetingsIssue weekly cost reports. This will include all orders placed, materials expected, and labour levels.Issue internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report. This will highlight progress percentage complete based on Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) codes and any concerns. It should also highlight any risk elements within the control for the company e.g.: late deliveries.Issue external weekly progress report, to the project manager, highlighting areas not available, delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage complete.Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule. Track all deliveries.Maintain a weekly project photographic diaryAll other duties associated with the role.RequirementsRelevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. Masters or Bachelor’s degree in engineeringPrevious experience in Project ManagementProven record of coordinating and managing large installation projectsExperience dealing with Industrial Relations issuesKnowledge of Health & SafetyExperienced in Design and Build Construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, Pharma or Data Centre type projects.Good technical knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems Additional Benefits: You will be working on a 3-week rotational basis (17/4 Rotational Roster with flights covered. e.g Monday to Saturday for two weeks & then Monday to Wednesday) with additional benefits covering: all accommodation covered (solo accommodation/own apartment, fully furnished with all utility bills paid inc.
