Job Title: Electrical Supervisor – Consult Location: Close to Bromma, Stockholm)Contract Length: 12 month + consultancy contractStart Date: ASAPWork Setup: Primarily on-site, Mon–FriAbout the ProjectYou will be joining the SLU 2024 programme — an eight-year maintenance and infrastructure framework covering all SL-operated railway lines excluding the metro. This includes both tramway and railway assets. One year has been completed, with seven years still ahead.The work focuses on 400V systems, so candidates without catenary experience will still be well-suited.Role SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support planning, coordination, and safety oversight on essential rail infrastructure maintenance. There are no personnel management responsibilities — the focus is on operational planning and administration.You will work alongside another Electrical Supervisor and a Project Engineer, collaborating closely with team leaders supporting ~20 technicians.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities using BESTA (or similar planning systems)Lead Monday planning meetings with techniciansPrepare SOS plans and ensure work readinessManage documentation, invoicing inputs, fault reporting, and system updatesReview faults and escalate issues early to prevent operational disruptionsOccasional site visits and rare night work may be requiredRequired Experience & CompetenciesCertified Electrical Safety LeaderExperience as SOS/TSM for Trafikförvaltningen (SL) — essentialBackground as a Qualified ElectricianSupervisor experience in electrical infrastructure projectsStrong communication skills — collaborative, proactive, and organisedExperience with planning systems such as BESTA or Trafikverket’s GUS MaximoAdditional internal certifications (e.g. X9) can be supported once onboard.Working Hours07:00–15:30On-site Monday to FridayLimited remote flexibility may be possible depending on workloadLanguagesFluent Swedish and EnglishCompensationSalary / rate based on experience and final consultancy agreement.How to ApplyIf you meet the required SL rail safety criteria and are ready to support a long-term, strategically important infrastructure contract — we’d love to hear from you.
