This position can be based out of any location where the Electrolux Procurement Hub is situated, like Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Curitiba, or the US. All about the role: The group is currently transforming the organization to focus on achieving a more competitive spending, a major part of which will be tied to a transformed organization and strategy in procurement. The renewed procurement strategy emphasizes an increased focus on price-competitive products achieved through continued efficient modularization and digitalization, together with a shift towards increased production and finished product sourcing in Asia.

What you’ll do: Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing Procurement Excellence team. Drive cultural and behavioral change across Procurement, focusing on collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement on the Ways of Working. Act as a key liaison to Finance, Operations, Quality, and Legal to ensure enterprise-wide alignment.
Define and implement the Procurement Excellence roadmap and framework in alignment with business goals. Act as a strategic partner to Procurement category leaders and sourcing teams, enabling performance improvement across cost, quality, delivery, and innovation. Build and lead a robust Supplier Development team focused on operational efficiency and unlocking further saving potential. Drive supplier benchmarking, technical expertise on the manufacturing process at the supplier side, continuous improvement, and innovationEstablish a Negotiation Center of Excellence (CoE) with methodologies, playbooks, and training to elevate commercial negotiation capabilities. Support high-stakes negotiations for critical categories, key suppliers, and cross-functional deals.
Standardize negotiation preparation, risk profiling, and stakeholder alignment processes. Lead the PMO & Digital team to oversee large-scale sourcing initiatives, cross-functional projects, and strategic procurement programs. Build strong program governance, risk management protocols, and milestone tracking across initiatives. Monitor performance metrics and ensure alignment with procurement transformation goals. Own the digital roadmap for procurement. Drive adoption of automation, advanced analytics, and AI to improve decision-making, compliance, and efficiency.
Qualifications & Preferred ExperienceAt least 15 years of experience in Procurement in a multinational environment, out of which at least 10 in leadership roles, through which an awareness of cultural differences was developedMaster's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; an MBA or other post-graduate master's will be an assetExperience in interacting with senior leaders of a companyCapability to develop solutions together with the Procurement LT and for the operational roles in the functionAbility to work independently or as part of a multi-functional teamExcellent communication skills at all levels, both internally and externallyDemonstrated ability to lead change, with a can-do attitude in driving completion of development projects, is a pre-requisite in the roleExpertise in sourcing, category management, procurement technology, and supplier managementStrong analytical, strategic thinking, and change management skills.
Deep understanding of global procurement regulations, sustainability, and risk management best practices. Experience with digital procurement platforms (e. g. , SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, Oracle). Business acumen and results orientationAbility to create simplicity out of complex scenarios and a large amount of data from multiple sourcesFluent in English. Any other language is an asset.
