ELECTRONIC ENGINEER - GHENT (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONJob Summary:We are currently recruiting a skilled and versatile Electronic Engineer to play a key role in driving the development of innovative electronic products. In this role, you will coordinate the design and validation of electronic systems, manage prototyping efforts, and contribute to production activities, ensuring products meet performance, reliability, and quality standards. You will act as a bridge between concept, prototyping, and manufacturing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and production specialists.The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence and practical implementation.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate the design, development, and validation of electronic circuits and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into robust, manufacturable designs.Develop, assemble, and test prototypes to validate design concepts and performance.Support production activities, including troubleshooting, process optimization, and quality assurance of electronic assemblies.Maintain comprehensive design documentation, test plans, and validation reports.Evaluate and recommend components, materials, and manufacturing processes to optimize cost, reliability, and performance.Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design methodology, validation practices, and production efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in electronic design, validation, and prototyping.Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits, PCB design, and embedded systems.Familiarity with production processes and electronic manufacturing techniques.Proficiency with CAD/EDA tools and test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.The Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to tom.walker@vividresourcing.com or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
