Electronic Manufacturing Manager

As a Electronic Manufacturing Manager, you will play a key leadership role in developing the electronic manufacturing operations that support our world-class operations. You will lead strategic initiatives to ensure process excellence, cost-effectiveness, and product quality, while mentoring cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement across our operations.Responsibilities:Lead the setup, development, and performance of the electronic manufacturing operations in Tijuana. Oversees SMT and electronic assembly activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production that meets delivery, cost, and performance targets. This role will establish a world-class manufacturing operation from inception—hiring, training, and developing the team, transferring production from Asia, and implementing robust systems for continuous improvement and operational excellence.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electronic engineering (Master’s preferred).Minimum 15 years in electronic assembly manufacturing (SMT, PCBA, test, and system integration).Advanced English/Spanish a must.Proven experience setting up or managing multi-shift operations.  Demonstrated success in Lean Manufacturing, project management, and NPI leadership. Experience leading cross-functional teams and establishing new manufacturing lines or transfers. ]Knowledge required:·        SMT processes: Pick & Place, Reflow, wave soldering, test engineering. ·        Lean and Six Sigma tools (Green/Black Belt preferred). ·        Hands-on experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).·        Strong understanding of quality systems and industry standards (ISO 9001, IPC standards, RoHS, UL, etc.). ·        The complementary training will be according to position training matrix.
