Job Description

The Electronic Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing of electronics on company equipment, using a multimeter and other tools.Job Duties And Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair of electronic systems on all company equipment with little tono supervision. Troubleshoot and install network equipment with supervision. Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics. Knowledge of software and adapters used to program, calibrate and troubleshootelectronic sensors and equipment. Perform instrumentation PMs and maintain accurate records for equipment. Assist in training of field personnel on troubleshooting and operating control systems. Assist shop personnel in installation and troubleshooting of electronics on companyequipment. Build and repair cables as needed.Required Skills And Abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work under varying degrees of pressure. Ability to travel 85+% of time.Minimum Education And Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Oil and Gas or related industry, with astrong background in electronics.Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds Driving for extended periods Wearing appropriate PPE (respirator, hearing protection, eye protection, hard hat,etc.)Job Type:Full-timePay:$22.71 - $27.35 per hourExpected hours:80 per weekBenefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insuranceSchedule 12 hour shiftAbility To Relocate Midland, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location:On the road
