Accountant

About the Role: We are currently hiring a Senior Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar to one of our client. The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years of accounting experience in the restaurant industry and be well-versed in managing all financial transactions, including revenue recognition, payables, receivables, payroll, and labor cost allocation. This is an on-site, full-time role requiring current residence in Qatar. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable and receivable. Handle revenue recognition processes accurately and in compliance with internal policies. Perform payroll accounting, including monthly salary processing and labor cost allocation.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with local regulations. Generate periodic financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing. Work closely with other departments to ensure cost control and budgeting accuracy. Utilize ERP systems for day-to-day accounting operations. Requirements: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Accountant within the restaurant or F&B industry (mandatory). Strong understanding of revenue recognition, accounts receivable/payable. Proficient in payroll and labor cost accounting. Hands-on experience with ERP accounting systems. Must be currently residing in Doha, Qatar. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
