The successful candidate will play a key role in end-to-end design and implementation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for high-quality real estate developments. This role requires hands-on expertise, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class projects.Qualifications And SkillsDemonstrated proficiency in ELV Systems Design including schematic development, technical calculations, and integration with building systems for high-end projects.Comprehensive hands-on experience in AutoCAD for creating, modifying, and reviewing detailed engineering drawings for ELV system layouts and schematics.Proficiency in Revit to effectively manage Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for improved coordination and clash detection within project designs.Strong understanding of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, including designing, specifying equipment, and integration with other ELV and building automation systems.Working knowledge of BICSI standards for structured cabling and telecommunications installations in real estate and commercial settings.Practical familiarity with NEC Contracts, focusing on engineering procurement and construction (EPC) project scenarios for compliance and risk management.Low-Voltage Design (Mandatory skill): Deep technical expertise in the design, specification, and deployment of low-voltage electrical systems for multi-use developments ensuring safety and scalability.Excellent problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal communication skills to interface effectively with internal and external project stakeholders.Roles And ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive ELV system designs encompassing access control, CCTV, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, and other low-voltage solutions for diverse real estate projects.Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems with project requirements and other building services.Generate accurate technical drawings, schedules, and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit for effective communication and project execution.Review and validate ELV system designs for adherence to project specifications, codes, industry standards (including BICSI), and safety protocols.Support construction teams throughout project lifecycle, providing guidance during installation, testing, and commissioning phases of ELV systems.Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize system design and reduce cost while maintaining required performance and compliance.Liaise closely with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and recommend appropriate system components and technologies for each unique project."Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements, regulatory changes, and best practices in ELV and low-voltage system technologies.
