Position: Carbon Black Divisional Head of Sales (Europe)Location: Germany (Remote + Onsite Customer Visits Across Europe)Reporting to: Divisional Head – Technical SalesDepartment: International Sales – Rubber BlacksWhat the Role is About: A leading global player in the carbon black industry is seeking a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager with deep sector knowledge and a well-established network across Europe. This individual contributor (IC) role is a strategic mix of technical expertise (40%) and sales/business development (60%), focused on supporting customers technically while developing business opportunities to drive growth across the European market. Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage key client relationships with large corporates across Europe. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the carbon black space. Lead onsite customer engagement, trials, product training, and technical troubleshooting. Work closely with internal teams (R&D, product, operations) to develop tailored solutions. Deliver technical training and presentations to clients, partners, and internal sales staff. Support the launch and promotion of new products in European markets. Provide detailed customer feedback to product and engineering teams. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technical developments. Drive brand positioning through superior service and product differentiation. Key Skills & Experience:
10+ years of business development experience in the chemicals or carbon black sector. 5–6 years of experience working with large corporations. Minimum Master’s degree in a relevant technical or commercial field. In-depth technical understanding of rubber blacks. Experience in the carbon black industry or with carbon black distributor companies is mandatory. Strong international sales network and ability to grow relationships. Fluency in German and English is mandatory; additional European languages (Dutch, French) are a strong plus. Willing to travel extensively across Europe. Must have valid European citizenship, visa, or work permit. Available to join within 0–45 days. Challenges of the Role:
