Embedded Software Application Engineer / Node Owner – Product Development

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Application Engineer (Team Lead / Node Owner) to join our product development organization. This is an opportunity for a technically skilled and people-oriented engineer to lead a talented team developing ECU and embedded software solutions that power vehicles used around the world.You will divide your time between team leadership and technical contribution, guiding colleagues to success while actively shaping the next generation of electrical and software architecture.Key Responsibilities Team Lead:Lead, coach, and motivate a cross-functional engineering team.Facilitate Agile ceremonies including PI and Sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.Remove obstacles and ensure objectives are met or exceeded.Collaborate closely with management and system owners to align priorities and manage workload.Drive improvements in team performance, competence, and ways of working.Node Owner / Technical Responsibilities:Own, develop, and maintain ECU and embedded software throughout the full lifecycle.Ensure compliance with technical, quality, time, and cost requirements.Coordinate and release ECU and ESW according to established processes.Define and maintain software and hardware requirements, documentation, and configurations (KOLA, SystemWeaver, RxSWIN).Develop and maintain long-term strategies and roadmaps for assigned nodes.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure alignment and delivery.Contribute to integration, testing, and troubleshooting in vehicle.Who You AreBSc or MSc in Electrical, Software, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).Strong experience in embedded hardware/software development within the automotive industry.Knowledge of ISO 26262, ECU functionality, and automotive software architecture.Familiarity with common development tools and processes within large engineering organizations.Proven leadership experience with excellent communication and collaboration skills.Analytical, structured, and motivated to drive both technical and personal development.Why Join Us You will work in a global environment with skilled colleagues across multiple locations.
