Embedded Software Engineer

We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Embedded Software Engineer to join our UniQue Ispra team.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.What will you be bringing to the team?Develop new systems based on the latest commercial System-on-Module (SoM) designsDesign and implement executing nodes, including their communication and interaction within a distributed systemContribute to the development of systems supporting nuclear inspector tasks, such as Containment, Verification, and SurveillanceImplement and validate user requirements in collaboration with the project teamPerform testing, documentation, and system integration with existing or related platformsEnsure the developed components meet functional, security, and performance standardsRequirementsWhat do you need to succeed in this position?Master + 5 years of experience or Bachelor + 9 years of experienceMinimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, with a strong focus on C++ developmentHands-on experience working with hardware and multi-process software systemsKnowledge or experience with the following technologies is considered an advantage{{:}} CMake Embedded Linux Git Qt Optical sensorsGood knowledge of EnglishAt Uni Systems, we are providing equal employment opportunities and banning any form of discrimination on grounds of gender, religion, race, color, nationality, disability, social class, political beliefs, age, marital status, sexual orientation or any other characteristics.
