Embedded Systems Engineer with a Product Development FocusPrimrock is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to work in our Lund office (@Ideon) on our Capacity-as-a-Service (CaaS) offering for large industrial and commercial electricity users. About the roleYou will work on both the embedded technology and the overall product experience for our end-users. Your responsibilities include (1) Define the functional requirements of the product based on market and user needs, (2) Hardware-software co-design to ensure feasibility and efficiency, (3) Collaborate with our business development team, (4) Embedded Software Development, (5) Optimize embedded code for real-time execution and reliability, (6) Integrate sensors and power management systems, (7) Work on interfaces and communication protocols, (8) Develop early-stage hardware prototypes using development boards, (9) Design the embedded architecture for performance and scalability, (10) Implement connectivity for remote monitoring/control, (11) Ensure secure software updates over the air and embedded security, (12) Other tasks to create an awesome user experience.QualificationsEducation: You have a Master’s Degree in Engineering in a relevant field with excellent academic results from a top school. Language: Professional proficiency in Swedish and English. CEFR Level C2 in both languages is a requirement. Skill set: Embedded Programming, PLCs, Wireless and IoT Communication, Product Development & Prototyping, Power Systems Knowledge including Battery management, inverters, energy optimization, Debugging & Testing.About PrimrockPrimrock provides capacity and balance services to the Nordic electricity market. It is not from home and not hybrid. Primrock offers a competitive compensation package.
