We are proud to be a Disability Friendly Workplace, ensuring an inclusive environment for all our employees.The EMEA Statutory COE (centre of expertise) covers all statutory and audit activities, tax relating to statutory activities, technical accounting and governmental and other reporting.The COE is part of the overall EMEA finance transformation project and is a key enabler for delivering statutory and audit activity across the region. The COE covers all Eaton businesses (currently 5 zones, 50 countries) and divisions (Elec, Indust, GEIS)What You’ll DoAs EMEA Statutory Portfolio Manager you will focus on Central Audist as the ultimate owner & responsible for delivering the statutory financial statements and audit on a portfolio of entities across several jurisdictions. The role interacts with many stakeholders including Eaton centralized audit owners, corporate technical accounting, tax, business leaders, zone controllers and EY and other third party auditors.ResponsibilitiesBeing part of the Statutory COE team, ensure an effective control environment and compliance with financial policies, focusing on the quality of financial deliverables and audit work.Support Component Audit and Centralized Audit for Eaton global sites to external auditor.Plan central audit timelines co ordinating with Statutory COE team, EY Pune, Dublin and US (as required) and drive execution to same.Lead the Central Audit relationship with the external auditor and monitor and manage timelines and challenges, escalating as required.Lead the Statutory COE relationship with GFA Pune to provide day-to-day compliance audit support in a timely manner.Plan, manage, monitor, and improve audit work with GFA teams, site controllers and external auditors.Maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and processes for RTR, OTC, and PTP activities, focusing on improving the quality of accounting deliverables to compliance and controls.Implement and drive a Zero-defect audit culture.Track audit progress and plans to execute improvements, drive efficiencies and innovation.Build scalable and capable organization to deliver quality services.
