The intern will support the investment decision-making process of the Emerging Markets Fixed Income group (EM) through the analysis, recommendation, and monitoring of emerging market bonds. Job FunctionsSupport Analysts on fundamental credit analysis and assessment of relative value within assigned industries to identify attractive primary and secondary investments.
Support Analysts by creating and maintaining financial models and credit memos, actively engage with sell-side and buy-side market participants, and conduct diligence calls with management teams and expert consultants. Participate in weekly investment team discussions and ultimately present investment recommendations. Minimum RequirementsCurrently enrolled (at any level) in MBA or Master’s program. Prior fixed income experience or CFA a plus. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to present ideas effectively and clearly. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented, but able to work independently.
Hourly Rate of Pay The rate of pay for this position is $30 per hour, with eligibility for overtime pay.
