Mode Search is exclusively partnered with an iconic fine jewellery brand in their search for an Employee Relations Manager EMEA, based in one of their Parisenne locations.Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Employee Relations, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of the EMEA ER strategy. This role partners closely with various stakeholders to drive regional business outcomes and ensures compliance with employment law and practices.This is an on site position, offering the opportunity of 1 days working from home once settled.The RoleDesign and lead the ER strategy across the EMEA regionLead employee relations matters across the EMEA region, through effective partnerships with all stakeholders, including the People team, Legal team, and external third partiesRegularly evaluate policies and guidelines in partnership with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Atlassian’s Code of Business Conduct and local/country lawLeverage data and insights to proactively drive changesCoach and train our employees on handling sensitive ER issues and conversations to enable performance and enhance business performanceUse data to identify employee relations trends and dedicatedly provide preventative trainingsDeliver a consistent, knowledgeable and professional service in areas including disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance, long-term sick leave etc. ensuring all such matters are dealt with in line with policy, best practice and legislative requirements to mitigate risk. Conduct confidential investigations, of complex HR-related concerns and apply critical thinking to analyze evidence and make investigative conclusions. Manage and own a complex caseload from commencement to case conclusion. Maintain a required standard of detailed ER case documentation, including investigation reports/outcome letters and issue analysis. Curate and deliver relevant training and education to improve HRBP and leader effectiveness and drive better ER decisions. Participate in the identification and delivery of ER projects/continuous improvement initiatives to improve the policy framework, increase knowledge within the firm and expand ER capability within the team. Manage or participate in special projects/programs / continuous improvement initiatives requiring ER stakeholder input, as needed. Ensure a coordinated and consistent case management approach to handling ER matters.Requirements Fluent in French and EnglishRights to work in France.Minimum 5 years of similar experience in this role, preferably in the luxury/fashion industryExtensive knowledge of laws and regulations relating to employee and labor in EMEA Regionmanagement skillsAbility to exercise considerable judgment, conflict resolution and discretion in in sensitive, complex or ambiguous situationsPlease note that due to a high number of applications we are currently receiving we are unfortunately not able to provide individual feedback to every candidate at this stage of the process.
