SynopsisWe are hiring an Employee Relations Manager to join our team at Etihad. Leading employee relations, handling disciplinary investigations and compliance matters across the organization both locally and internationally. The position ensures adherence to legal and organizational standards by driving timely and effective case resolutions, promoting accountability, and mitigating risk. The role is responsible for developing and implementing disciplinary policies, supporting ethics and compliance investigations, and enhancing strong collaboration with legal, HR, and other key stakeholders to upload Etihad’s governance framework and maintain a culture of integrity and fairness.AccountabilitiesLead the investigation of employee complaints and critical incidents, ensuring legal and organizational standards are met. Address escalated issues that require higher Level involvement, ensuring timely resolutions and supporting high levels of employee satisfaction.Design, develop and deliver workshops on disciplinary policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to promote a culture of accountability across the organization and to provide Etihad with high quality and procedure aligned to industry’s best practices.Assign and manage ethics and compliance cases, ensure thorough evidence collection, and conduct investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures.Exercise decision making authority on employee relations matters, ensuring instant and comprehensive operational outcomes.Maintain deep understanding of policies applicable to all locations and ensure consistent applications and compliance across outstations.Identify key areas of risk and offer targeted support to reduce potential issues, working in collaboration with legal and HR teams.Manage the relationship with the Legal Department, Ethics and Compliance, Security, EMC and any other department necessary, to ensure that all incidents and cases are managed according to the recognized procedures and are complaint with the Code of Conduct and legal requirements in the appropriate country.Education & ExperienceBachelors degree or equivalentHR professional qualification preferableMinimum of 7 years of HR experience in 2-3 disciplines or a generalist roleAbout Etihad AirwaysEtihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the world’s leading airlines.
