At Scope we celebrate people.We have an opportunity for an Employment Consultant to join our vibrant Kingsgrove Packaging Solutions Factory.This is a full-time position and based on-site Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. We offer Salary Packaging benefits so $15,900 of your salary is tax free!We are seeking someone with proven experience supporting someone with a disability and with a natural ability to motivate, build relationships and who thrives in a fast-paced environment creating new opportunites.Your RoleProvide vocational support and training, assist with inducting supported employees to the worksite.Develop and deliver training, implement and coordinate positive behaviour management plansTake action to prevent escalation of any potential emergency or crisis.Liaise with government and non-government agencies (Centrelink, CRS Australia, Advocacy Services and other services provides such as health professionalsLiaise with community support persons, parents, and guardians.Conduct employee interviews and meetings. Respond and report appropriately to employee issues.RequirementsCert IV in Disability or other relevant qualification Valid Senior First Aid Certificate and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CRP)Understanding of NDIS and Person-Centred SupportExcellent communication skills and customer services skills Experience supporting people with a disability Current knowledge of the NDIS Practice standards and requirements of service provision Who is Scope?Scope is one of the largest not-for-profit disability service providers in Australia, supporting thousands of people with complex intellectual, physical, and multiple disabilities.
