Continuing to write success stories in every field it operates in, Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding, one of Turkey's largest industrial groups with over 5,000 employees, is looking for an "Energy and Carbon Market Specialist" to be assigned at its Kocaeli location.General Qualifications:Graduated from relevant engineering departments,Recent graduate or 2-3 years of experience in the field,Proficient in MS Office programs (able to develop macros using Excel VBA),Preferably skilled in R or Python for data analysis, forecasting, or optimization,Excellent command of written and spoken Turkish,Fluent in English,Experienced in stakeholder relations and corporate communication management,Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented,Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible,Strong planning, organization, coordination, and representation skills,Strategic thinker, creative, and innovative,Strong presentation skills, able to work in a result-oriented manner,No restrictions on travel.Job Description:Monitor, analyze, and report electricity market tariff processes and accounts,Follow up on regulations and legislative changes related to electricity, natural gas and carbon markets, analyze their impact on company processes, and report findings,Analyze the carbon-related needs of our group companies and carry out transactions in these markets, including preparing reports under the EU CBAM framework,Conduct carbon trading in EU ETS, TR ETS, and other relevant markets,Monitor and optimize the energy consumption and production of the company’s domestic and international facilities,Continuously monitor operational activities to evaluate tariff systems and provide optimization recommendations,Perform DAM-SMP-YEKDEM and consumption forecasting using R, Python, or similar software,Track green markets (VSC, GO, YEK-G, etc.),Assist in the transition to a low-carbon economy and follow border carbon regulations, preparing the necessary groundwork and monitoring for portfolio clients,Monitor national and international Green Deal developments, conduct impact analysis, and prepare reports for the group companies.
