Role SummaryThe Energy and Environment Manager for Bilstein Motion Solutions holds the central responsibility for managing all environmental and energy management activities across the Business Unit and its sites. The role ensures compliance with ISO 14001/50001, legal and corporate requirements, drives decarbonization and resource efficiency, and serves as single point of contact for a potential multi-site certification.Key ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an Energy & Environment Manager to take on the central responsibility for environmental and energy management within Bilstein Motion Solutions. In this role, you will coordinate activities across multiple sites, ensure compliance with ISO 14001/50001 and regulatory requirements, and drive measures for resource efficiency and decarbonization. As part of Bilstein Motion Solutions’ OPS team, you will act as the key liaison between the Business Unit, the sites, and the headquarters, contributing to our global ESG ambition in a fast-changing and dynamic environment. Aggregate, validate, and approve energy & environmental data (e.g. EDC, CSRD, GEEP, etc.). Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on internal/external audits and HQ processes. Develop and implement resource efficiency and decarbonization measures, incl. long-term planning and investment proposals (e.g. PV). Conduct BU-level management reviews, track targets, escalate deviations. Harmonize reporting processes and systems (Power BI, standard tools). Train and enable site managers, share best practices, coordinate incidents and audit findings. Align with AT HQ, sites, functions (Procurment, Controlling, Ops) and external stakeholders (authorities, auditors, insurers).Accountabilities Functional authority over site energy & environmental managers. Define internal reporting standards, KPIs, and harmonized tools in collaboration with the AT HQ ESG function Escalate and define corrective measures for deviations and audit findings.Specific Role Requirements Strong skills in process mapping, standardization, and rollout in a matrix organisation Degree in Environmental/Energy Management, Engineering, or equivalent. Fluent English (incl. technical terminology). Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills. In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001/50001, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, REACH, Energy Efficiency Law, and relevant national/international regulations. Expertise in environmental management (waste, hazardous substances, emissions, compliance) and energy management (renewables, PV, efficiency).
