How You’ll Make An ImpactLead the strategic direction of five core CCOE programs, including Governance and CybersecurityDesign and implement robust cybersecurity strategies for development and production cloud environmentsCollaborate with R&D to embed security into the software development lifecyclePartner with infrastructure teams to secure SaaS platforms and manage incident responseAlign cloud security policies with global standards and internal frameworksDrive adoption of best practices like NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2Represent cybersecurity in executive-level discussions and strategic planningFoster a culture of continuous improvement through KPIs and metricsResponsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelinesYour backgroundBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred6+ years of leadership experience in cybersecurity or cloud security rolesProven success managing cross-functional teams in complex environmentsDeep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practicesFamiliarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and regulatory standardsRelevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Security) highly desirableCandidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United StatesMore About UsWe pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefits to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
