JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Research Analyst to join our team. This hybrid role combines energy market research and analytics with administrative support responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting research projects, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the efficient coordination of organizational tasks. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, business acumen, and the ability to work independently while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Project Management & Business Development Support:Conduct detailed research on energy markets, including pricing, policies, and emerging trends. Conduct in-depth investigations into various energy technologies, including emerging innovations in renewable energy, energy storage, carbon capture, and grid optimization systems. Evaluate and compare the performance, costs, scalability, and environmental impact of different technologies to identify the most suitable solutions for specific projects.Identify and assess technology providers and vendors, analyzing their offerings, reliability, and alignment with project goals.Analyze potential risks associated with adopting new or untested technologies and develop mitigation strategies.Gather and synthesize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support market forecasting and strategy development.Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, admin, operations) to facilitate business development activities and ensure compliance with international business regulations.2. Stakeholder & Client Liaison:Prepare clear and professional reports, summaries, and market insights for internal and external stakeholders.Assist in coordinating global business relationships, including correspondence with international clients, partners, and government entities.Support the preparation of meeting agendas, follow-ups, and action items to ensure progress on strategic initiatives.Create engaging presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools to support business proposals and discussions. Collaborate, create and manage monthly/quarterly presentations to the Management/ Board Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and quality in deliverables.3.Event & Conference Coordination: Plan and organize business development events, and client meetings. Handle registrations, event logistics, and post-event follow-ups to maximize business opportunities.4. Administrative Support:Manage schedules, organize meetings, and coordinate trave/ arrangements for team members.handle correspondence with external stakeholders, including regulators, consultants, and business partners.Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.Ensure proper documentation and filing of project materials and contracts.5. Travel & Logistics Coordination:Arrange complex intonational and domestic travel, including visas, flights, accommodations, and itineraries.Ensure smooth logistics for business trips, including meeting scheduling, local transport, and event coordination.Process and track travel expenses and reimbursements in compliance with company policies.6. Confidentiality & Discretion: Manage highly sensitive business and financial information with the utmost confidentiality. Exercise sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving on behalf of the executive.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in engineering, energy or a related field.3+ years of experience in the energy sectorExperience in project coordination, or strategic support is a plus.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelyAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Bl, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Familiarity with international travel arrangements, visa processes, and expense reporting.Ability to work with diverse global teams and adapt to different cultural business norms.Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and find solutions independently.High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Understanding of energy markets, renewable energy, and sustainability concepts.Interest in emerging technologies and global energy policies. Knowledge and understanding of financial modeling or risk analysis in the energy sector.
