As our Technical Project Manager, you’ll lead the electrical system design and grid connection process for renewable energy projects.

From coordinating contractors to ensuring compliance and supporting project delivery, you’ll play a key role in bridging technical planning with on-the-ground execution — all while staying ahead of innovations like battery storage and smart energy solutions. What You’ll Do:

Take responsibility for the design of electrical systems, including grid connection requirements, while coordinating closely with other project activitiesProvide technical support during project development, ensuring that all factors influencing and influenced by the grid connection are fully consideredSupport the electrical design and development of renewable energy projects, including system layouts, component selection, and preparation of technical specificationsEnsure that all electrical designs and installations comply with local, national, and international codes and standards applicable to renewable energyMaintain strong working relationships with high/medium (HV/MV) contractors, driving their performance and ensuring service delivery meets all relevant standardsReview single-line diagrams to ensure optimal system design and full compliance with grid connection requirementsCoordinate and manage the technical grid application process, working with grid operators to secure necessary approvals and connectionsConduct analysis of renewable energy systems and develop CAPEX models for use in financial modellingCollaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams, external suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless coordination and on-time project deliveryManage the supplier selection process, from request for proposal (RFP) through to contract signing, ensuring alignment with quality and performance expectationsStay informed of industry regulations, best practices, and innovative solutions in renewable energy, including battery storage and smart energy management, to drive project sustainabilityJob Requirements:

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Electrical), or an equivalent level of educationA minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally with exposure to the renewable energy sectorExperience working with transmission or distribution network transformer stationsHands-on experience in the design, testing, planning, or maintenance of transformer stations and other power plantsA genuine passion for renewable energy and/or environmental technologiesStrong coordination skills, with the ability to effectively manage all internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in IT tools, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)Excellent written and spoken EnglishStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take initiative and drive resultsIf you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway.
