About The RoleAs the Test and Release Manager at Enfuce, you will be the driving force behind our quality assurance and release management strategy. This is a pivotal role responsible for building and leading our new QA function, setting the vision for testing policy, and establishing robust release processes that ensure we consistently deliver high-quality, reliable software. You will shape the standards for how we test and release products, championing best practices such as BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development), and fostering a culture of quality across the business. What You'll Be Doing:
Defining and implementing the overall testing policy and quality assurance strategy, including the introduction and advocacy of BDD/TDD methodologiesDesigning, validating, and continuously improving release processes to ensure all software releases meet rigorous quality standards and are delivered on scheduleLeading, mentoring, and developing the QA team, including the direct management of QA Engineers, while fostering a collaborative and quality-first mindset across the businessOverseeing the planning, execution, and reporting of all testing activities with a focus on automation and customer useabilityCollaborating closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless and automated quality gates for every releaseEnable ad-hoc testing practises in collaboration with customer teams to ensure customer onboarding guardrails are in placeEstablishing and monitoring key quality metrics and KPIs, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement in testing and release practicesActing as the primary point of contact for quality and release matters with internal stakeholders and customers, representing the QA function in cross-functional forums.

Proven experience in test management & release management, with a track record of building and leading high-performing QA teamsDeep understanding of software testing methodologies, including BDD and TDD, and experience embedding these practices into business workflowsStrong background in both manual and automated testing, with experience in API, performance, and end-to-end testingHands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working closely with teams to streamline release processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigationExceptional communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing technical teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levelsExperience designing and implementing test strategies, release policies, and quality metrics that drive measurable improvementsPassion for fostering a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within engineering teams.
