You will work with a team of passionate individuals to have visible impact in your community and directly contribute to making Queensland a better place to live.As Our Engagement Officer, You Will Plan and undertake activities supporting community and stakeholder engagement strategies, including coordinating project activities within the stakeholder engagement plan through independent completion of own task and oversight of project resources/team. Some engagements may require attendance at activities that are out of normal office hours. Build, maintain and improve relationships and networks both internally and externally to enable implementation of engagement strategies and effective events that engage the target audience. This may include managing potential conflicts through clear communication. Build and maintain knowledge of stakeholder interests and social responses to biosecurity concerns. Apply engagement techniques to communicate effectively with the target audience using audience analytics to support stakeholder mapping. Under direction, negotiate and communicate with designated stakeholder groups on behalf of the program area/agency within department guidelines. Establish and promote events on behalf of the organisation in conjunction with key projects and business needs.You may also have - IAP2 Engagement certificate or other relevant certificate/experience is highly desirable.
