We provide many of the systems and services that the University needs to deliver high quality research and teaching outcomes.Your skills and experience | Kā pūkeka me kā wheakoWe’re on the lookout for someone with a solid foundation in server management and a passion for building their technical skills. Our team supports a diverse environment of around 1,200 virtual machines, split between Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.Our ideal candidate for this role will: Have direct experience supporting data centre environments, including the physical installation and maintenance of servers. Have in-depth knowledge and experience managing network cabling and requirements within a data centre. Have a collaborative mindset with a track record of being a team player who helps others succeed. Enthusiasm for learning and keeping pace with new technologies and industry trends. Have strong interpersonal skills — we value people who can communicate and connect just as well as they troubleshoot.
