Engineer Manager-Civil

The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating all engineering activities of a project to ensure designs, technical deliverables, and engineering-related decisions are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. The role serves as a bridge between the project management, engineering teams, design consultants, and construction teams, ensuring smooth integration of all engineering work.Requirements Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of a multidiscipline project engineering teamCoordinate the engineering content of project execution plans for assigned contracts/projectDirection and management of the engineering and associated project activities of the business grouping/ProjectManage and direct resources efficiently and effectivelyConsult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings Assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the department or project teamsFocuses on managerial concerns of the project such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation. Provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of work Reviews technical concepts of major projectsAssist in identifying and requesting functional support to projects / contracts as requiredAccountable for the efficient planning and management of engineering resources, identifying and pursuing opportunities for margin improvement,Perform additional duties when directed by the Project Management & Engineering Manager.
