Engineer, Requirement Management

About The RoleThe primary responsibility is to collect, structure and monitor the stakeholder requirements during the complete lifecycle processes. This position will ensure data maintenance in the Requirements Management tools, and will measure and report the process performance based on defined KPIs. This position will be the bridge between the customer and internal engineering teams for process and structure of requirements.This position will report to requirement department head as organization perspective.What You Will DoCustomer InterfaceEnsure availability of customer requirements specificationsEnsure availability of referenced documents (GCSR, ISOs, Norms, Standards,...) and handling. Requirement ManagementEnsure availability of customer requirement specifications for all project stakeholders in defined requirements toolDistribute customer requirement to project stakeholders (e.g. Functional Owner, Project Manager) for analysis and derivation of system requirement. Exchange official evaluation result (DOORS / DNG) to the customerEnsure data maintenance in the Requirements Management toolsCreate the requirements specification baselinesTracking and MonitoringMeasure and report the process performance based on defined KPIsTrack and report missing analysis informationTrack and report completeness of traceability/linkingChange ManagementChange Request support regarding requirements according to tailored CR processRequest technical analysis and estimated effort of requirements from Engineering TeamVerify quotation from requirement/system perspective. What You NeedExpert knowledge of requirements managementGood knowledge of embedded software and systemExcellent knowledge of RFI/RFQ processKnowledge of Requirements Management Tool “Doors Next Generation”, “DOORS”, and Doors exchange mechanismConfiguration management rules and tools especially baseliningKnowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®)Strong knowledge on SW and HW architectures and Mobile Wireless Technology (DSPs, ARM, Memories, Multicore processing, WiFi, 5G, 4G/LTE, 3G, CDMA, 2G, Bluetooth) and/or Infotainment Technology (Navigation system, Digital TV, ETC system, Drive recorder, Mirroring, rear seat entertainment). Ability to communicate advanced and complex concepts and ideas persuasively and concisely to all levels of the business.
