Akkodis is seeking an Engineer, Supplier Development Quality for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA. Responsible for driving supplier quality improvements and developing acceptance criteria for sourced components.Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Engineer, Supplier Development Quality Job Responsibilities IncludeDrive improvement and corrective actions in the quality of components sourced from external suppliers to meet corporate and regulatory standards.Assess and qualify new suppliers for technical, quality, and manufacturing capabilities; provide technical support during component introduction.Develop and maintain incoming inspection procedures, train inspectors, and source appropriate inspection tools and equipment.Generate test protocols, monitor testing, and approve components for use in products; ensure compliance with quality system requirements.Collaborate with design engineering teams to provide input on component specifications, manufacturability, and reliability analysis.Investigate material defects and field failures, communicate issues to suppliers, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred, but any engineering discipline accepted).3–6 years of related work experience, including at least 1 year in supplier quality engineering.Strong technical knowledge of component specifications, inspection procedures, and quality systems compliance.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering and supplier teams.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
