The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimise custom programs, enhancements, and interfaces to support our utility sector clients, with a strong understanding of IS-U functional processes. 🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain ABAP applications, reports, and interfaces in the SAP IS-U landscape. Work closely with IS-U functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Design and implement solutions for: Billing & InvoicingDevice ManagementMeter ReadingCustomer ServiceFICA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable)Create and maintain SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and other print programs. Develop and optimise IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services for system integrations. Perform ABAP debugging, performance tuning, and code reviews.
Support data migration (LSMW, BDC) and batch processing jobs. Ensure compliance with SAP development guidelines and utilities industry standards. 🛠️ Required Skills & Experience3+ years of ABAP development experience in SAP IS-U projects. Proficiency in ABAP Objects, Enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits), and Data Dictionary. Hands-on experience with integration technologies (ALE/IDoc, RFC, Web Services). Understanding of IS-U business processes (Billing, Device Management, FICA). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Fluent in Italian (spoken & written) and proficient in English. ⭐ Preferred Skills & QualificationsSAP S/4HANA Utilities development experience. Knowledge of SAP CRM for Utilities. Experience working in Agile environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
