This is a strategic role for a proactive leader with hands-on technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a track record of managing preventive maintenance programs in food manufacturing or similar industrial environments.The ideal candidate will combine leadership with technical proficiency to maximize equipment uptime, minimize production interruptions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred, to effectively communicate with a diverse team and coordinate across all levels of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs for all bakery equipment.Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.Collaborate cross-functionally with production, operations, and quality teams to minimize downtime.Manage vendor relationships, parts procurement, and maintenance budgets.Maintain compliance with safety standards, food regulations (GMP, SQF), and company policies.Track and analyze equipment performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Provide clear and timely reporting on maintenance activities and KPIs to plant leadership.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.7+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a food manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems; PLC and robotics experience is a plus.Demonstrated success managing preventive maintenance programs and leading maintenance teams.Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.Strong understanding of safety, regulatory compliance, and food manufacturing best practices.Why You would want to Join this company?Opportunity to lead a high-performing maintenance team in a growing, family-oriented company.Influence operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Work in a collaborative environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are always valued.Benefits:• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance• 401(k) with company match• Paid time off and holidays• Professional development opportunitiesDon’t Wait!!!
