We are looking for individuals who have the motivation to the want to engage in growth of our programmes and to shape the development of new teaching and learning techniques. You will be developing and delivering the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering Level 6.The role will be based at our Auckland CBD campus and is a permanent role full time position over (40 hours) per week. Classes run during the day and evenings.Key focus areas Planning and delivering courses using effective and engaging teaching methods and materials appropriate to the students and course content and aligned with the NZSE Teaching and Learning Plan Design and develop course content and assessments as per NZQA standards (via Canvas LMS and MS Teams) Ensuring all assessments, including tests are completed as per the requirements of the course including marking, feedback, moderation, reassessment and rescheduling within required timeframe Industry stakeholder engagement, organising guest speakers and internships Participating and engage in and working on research projects Face-to-face, hybrid and online delivery of classesKo koe tēnei | About you Previous experience in developing course content and teaching the NZDE programme or Electronics at Level 7 or higher Minimum of a Master’s qualification Teaching and developing content experience in Microcontrollers, Altium, Proteus, PCB Design, CAD and Python programming Teaching experience in New Zealand preferred within a PTE setting Research active preferred Experience with NZQA programme design, assessment, and moderation Diploma (Level 6) or NZ Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) or willingness to work towards one Knowledge of Te Tiriti o WaitangiNgā Painga | Benefits In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, career growth, a professional development budget, discount on travel, free annual flu vaccine, paid birthday leave after one years’ service, staff referral bonus and the opportunity to influence change in the organisation and transform lives from our brand new CBD campus!Me pēhea te tuko tono | How to applyClick APPLY and send your CV and cover letter explaining why you consider yourself suitable for the role.We will contact shortlisted candidates as we receive applications.At NZSE, we embrace cultural diversity and inclusivity, actively encouraging applications from individuals of varied backgrounds, encompassing gender, ethnicity, and social standing.
