DescriptionPosition at LeoVegas GroupAbout The RoleWe are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building internal tooling and features that keep players engaged. The Retention team powers the organisation with a custom-built toolbox that enriches the player journey with bonuses, loyalty programs, and seamless cross-channel experiences. As one of the most crucial parts of the player lifecycle, the Retention domain ensures our players return for new, exciting, and rewarding experiences.We’re driven by excellence and fueled by innovation. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, driving technical execution, and supporting team growth across the whole employee lifecycle - hiring & developing talent.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Team Management & Support:Run daily standupsHold regular one-on-onesDrive goal setting and career developmentLead hiring and onboardingProvide technical guidance and mentorshipTrack and act on engineering KPIsTechnical & Project Oversight:Participate in code reviews and pull request approvalsLead technical discussions and discovery sessionsMonitor system health and manage incidentsProcess & Execution:Plan and execute sprints and roadmap deliverables, ensuring clear timelines and resource alignmentOptimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesWork closely with engineering, product, and QA teamsChampion Quality in all releases by ensuring proper regression testing and automation coverage in collaboration with QA engineersEnforce incident management processesReport on progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders related to development and operationsStrategy & Leadership:Contribute to the engineering, SDLC and QA strategy.Conduct performance reviews and support career growthMaintain strong communication with stakeholdersOUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:Essential Skills: Solid engineering backgroundProven experience in leading and managing engineering teamsTransparent and inspiring leadership style that builds trustExcellent communication skills, with the ability to guide and challenge teams effectively when neededDeep understanding of Agile software development methodologiesNice-to-Have:Experience in retention or user engagement domainKnowledge of the iGaming industryWho We AreAt the core of LeoVegas Group is Team Leo.
