Building our own platform gives freedom to innovate and flip the legacy perceptions and industry stereotypes.About The Role-We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join and lead our Stats team.With the team, you will focus on providing the fastest, most accurate and complete statistics. Your work will involve enhancing data accuracy, improving the accessibility of key insights, and developing innovative features that elevate user engagement and retention. You will be a part of a cross-functional team that has Developers, Designers, QAs, Product Managers and others.We’re looking for someone who has:Experience in Technical and People leadershipStrong exposure to hiring engineers and establishing team cultureDeep understanding of the software development lifecycleAdvocate of servant leadership: Takes a hands-on approach to engineering daily basis Experience resolving complex engineering and communication issuesGreat time management, organizational and multitasking skillsBonus points for:Experience leading cross-functional teams including different roles (backend, client-side developers, QAs)What you’ll be doing:Hiring and leading a team of engineers; reporting directly to you will be Android, iOS, Web, and QA engineersEnsure growth and development opportunities for all team members which includes coaching and mentoring, identifying and removing roadblocks and distractions, running regular 1:1s and feedback sessions with team members, and performing performance reviews for the direct reportsNurturing a strong relationship with other engineering managers, technical leads and product managersStakeholder coordination: defining priorities, managing expectations, ensuring regular updates and follow-ups regarding the teams’ scope of workSupporting engineering department goals by setting team requirements, goals and timelinesMaking relevant technical and business decisions that ensure predictable delivery in terms of timelines, stability, and performanceBuilding and maintaining the culture of engineering excellence - we don’t cut corners when it comes to quality and reliability
