We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager who cares deeply about customers and is passionate about building products that improve the way millions of teams work together. As part of the Detection Engineering team in an innovative security team, you will build the detection capabilities that our blue and red teams need to make an impact..This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule - in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.We offer a Contract of Employment (UoP) for our employees in Poland.What you’ll achieve:Manage our Detection Engineering team by providing the resources and coaching they need to executeGuide the articulation and execution of Asana Security’s detection program, including architecture, testing, reviews, implementation of security controls, and moreWork directly with the Head of Security and other senior leaders across Asana to set the strategy for your teamBuild processes that scale Detection Engineering in a rapidly expanding company, including how incident response is handled on your teamRecruit for your team and define how it evolves and interacts with the rest of Security and AsanaWork with teams cross-functionally and align their roadmaps to improve the security posture of AsanaAbout you:4+ years technical management and leadership experienceCloud systems engineering, network, and security backgroundStrong working knowledge of modern cloud, endpoint, network, and browser defenses and controlsVery comfortable with working with stakeholders like Engineering, IT, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and the rest of EngineeringYou’re interested in building defenses against real world attacksAble to balance diverse risk when making decisionsDemonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.What We OfferGenerous, transparent and fair compensation system (base salary and generous Restricted Stock Unit for Asana Inc.) The actual base salary will vary based on various factors and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
