Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our clients Mechanical Design team and drive the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects for the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.In this leadership role, you will oversee project execution from design through delivery, ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality teams to align technical outputs with project and business goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop a team of mechanical engineers to deliver on project commitmentsOversee engineering workflows, documentation, and design quality processesDrive the effective use of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks or SolidEdge) and design standardisationManage multiple projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelinesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce design cycle time, and enhance qualityFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovationRequirements:Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline10+ years’ mechanical design experience in a project-based engineering or manufacturing environmentProven leadership and project management experienceStrong understanding of GMP design principles, ideally within pharmaceutical or life sciences industriesProficiency in 3D CAD systems and engineering documentationThis is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineering leader to make a significant impact in a growing, technically innovative environment.
