Partnering closely with Production, Maintenance, Sales, Marketing, and Accounting, you’ll deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that strengthen operational performance and support company growth.💡 Career Growth Opportunity For candidates with demonstrated leadership and technical ability in both Engineering and Facilities Management, Grosfillex will consider applicants for a broader Director of Technical Operations opportunity — a role that would oversee both departments and drive strategic technical initiatives across the organization.What You’ll DoLead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.Manage a portfolio of engineering projects — including new product development, process improvements, and equipment implementation.Partner with Production, Maintenance, and other departments to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability across operations.Support New Product Development (NPD) by ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and timely execution.Lead Engineering Change Management to streamline product updates, introductions, and phase-outs.Oversee technical documentation, specifications, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Collaborate cross-functionally to develop accurate cost estimates and support post-launch cost analysis.Manage departmental budgets and contribute to capital planning and strategic technical initiatives.What You BringBachelor’s degree in an applicable Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics or related industry preferred).Proven experience leading and developing a technical team.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.High degree of computer literacy, including engineering and project management tools.A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-driven approach.Why Join GrosfillexWe believe great work happens when people are supported and inspired.
